Legendary ’90s alternative rock band Sugar are returning to the spotlight with their first full world tour in more than three decades, accompanied by their first new music since the mid‑1990s. The band, led by frontman Bob Mould with bassist David Barbe and drummer Malcolm Travis, confirmed the extensive Love You Even Still 2026 World Tour that kicks off this spring.

Originally formed in 1992 after Mould’s tenure in Hüsker Dü, Sugar earned critical acclaim with albums such as Copper Blue and File Under: Easy Listening before disbanding in 1995. Fans snapped up tickets for initial reunion shows in New York and London, prompting the band to expand plans into a 36‑date international tour spanning Europe, the UK, Ireland, and North America.

The tour opens in May 2026 with performances at Webster Hall in New York, followed by dates in cities including Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Oslo, Berlin, and Paris, and later moves to the U.S., where stops include Denver, Seattle, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Boston and an October finale in Athens, Georgia. Tickets go on general sale January 30, with presales beginning January 27.

To coincide with this milestone, Sugar have released a new single titled “Long Live Love”, their second fresh track after October’s comeback release “House of Dead Memories.” Written years earlier, the new song is paired with a music video directed by Lee Gregory and will be issued as a 7‑inch vinyl via BMG on May 1, 2026.

Band members have expressed excitement about reconnecting with fans old and new. For many, this long‑awaited return marks a vibrant celebration of Sugar’s enduring legacy in the alt‑rock canon.
