Oakland‑based songwriter and experimental musician Kathryn Mohr is gearing up for the release of her second full‑length album, Carve, set to arrive on April 17, 2026 via The Flenser. The announcement comes with the premiere of the record’s first single, “Property,” giving listeners an early taste of what to expect from Mohr’s latest work.
“Property” emerged from a series of vivid dream images and personal explorations in Mohr’s own city, including a mysterious underground waterway she discovered beneath Oakland. These surreal inspirations help shape the track’s atmospheric textures and introspective mood.
Carve follows Mohr’s critically acclaimed 2025 debut, Waiting Room, which established her distinct blend of minimalist soundscapes, eerie ambience, and emotional depth.
